“Curating Modernism & Medicine” is a public conference prompted by the exhibition Lifeblood: Edvard Munch (MUNCH). In different ways, the papers presented consider how the intersections between modern art and medicine have been curated in the past and are being curated today. 'Curating' is understood both in terms of organizing exhibitions and caring for objects in curatorial practice and art-historical research.
